The Police and Crime Commissioner, John Campion, works for and with local communities to build a safer West Mercia. It is his role to scrutinise the service local communities gets from West Mercia Police. He ensures the needs of all communities are met and that they have a service they can trust and be confident in.
The PCC’s role is elected by the public. John Campion was first elected into office in 2016, and was most recently re-elected for a third term in 2024.
