Can you please tell me:
- If the police estate has been surveyed to see whether its buildings contain Reinforced
Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC)? - If so, when the surveys took place?
- How many buildings were identified as containing the material?
- What, if any, action has been taken as a result of the findings?
- How much money has been spent on such action to date?
- What is the total estimated future cost of action to deal with RAAC?
Response
Three buildings were surveyed as being identified with possibly containing RAAC, and were
confirmed as not having any.
The surveys that took place were on the below;
RAAC survey for Wellington Police Station on 28th November 2023
RAAC survey for Shrewsbury Police Station on 05th December 2023
RAAC survey for Telford Malinsgate Police Station on 8th September 2023
No buildings were identified as containing the material.
No action was required as a result of the findings.
No money has been spent on such action.
There is no estimated cost associated as no action is required.
