Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion has finalised and published his plan, detailing how he will build a Safer West Mercia in the coming years.
The plan outlines the four key strands to the Commissioner’s vision and how they will be delivered:
– Putting victims and survivors first
– Building a more secure West Mercia
– Reforming West Mercia
– Reassuring West Mercia’s communities
The plan has been developed following extensive consultation with communities and partners, before and since the PCC’s election. It has also been scrutinised by West Mercia’s Police and Crime Panel.
John Campion said: “Our communities put their faith in me to build a safer West Mercia. This plan demonstrates how I will work tirelessly to repay that faith in the years to come. It is my firm commitment to West Mercia’s communities and it sets the basis for what I want to achieve for them.
“My plan outlines how I will enable more active citizenship, give victims the help they need, ensure a modern, agile and efficient police service, provide better value for the public by working with partners and ultimately deliver communities that are safe and feel safe.”
“The vision I delivered during my election campaign has been carried through to this plan, and will continually be part of what I will work hard to deliver.”
