How is the money spent?
In 2023/24, we plan to spend £275.m before income and use of reserves. The expenditure on police services has increased by £14.28m.

Capital Table
The PCC has approved a capital budget of £28.624 m to invest in the police estate, IT and fleet.
Police officer uplift
Since 2015, the PCC has allocated funding for 566 additional police officers.
Increases made by PCC’s in Council Tax
The PCC is conscious of the pressure that council tax places on households. The PCC has the 4th lowest increase in council tax since 2016/17 when he was first elected as West Mercia PCC.
