Background
The first meeting of the Trust, Integrity and Ethics Committee took place on Monday 22 September 2014 and their final meeting was held on 25th July 2018. Their work is now been incorporated into the Joint Audit and Standards Committee.
The setting up of the Trust integrity and Ethic Committee followed the introduction of the Code of Ethics which was developed by the College of Policing. The Code sets out what the high standards of behaviour within policing looks like and includes practical examples for officers and staff to use in their everyday jobs.
Meetings
The committee, met 3-4 times a year, and comprised of 5 independent members.
Committee meetings were open to any member of the public to attend (excluding closed sessions).
