Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion said: “Children need the protection of the law to be safe. They need space to grow up safely, to ensure they do not get manipulated into marriages they aren’t able to properly consent to.
“As Police and Crime Commissioner, I welcome the new law which will help to protect the most vulnerable in West Mercia and ensure they are not exploited or taken advantage of.”
