Setting the blueprint for local policing, the West Mercia Safer Communities Plan sets out how PCC John Campion will address your policing priorities.
After the PCC was re-elected in May 2024, he consulted with the public and partners before pulling together his four-year Police and Crime Plan.
Committed to tackling crime, bringing offenders to justice and preventing harm, the plan focuses on delivering safer and stronger communities.
With overall crime falling across West Mercia, and record-levels of investment into West Mercia Police, the PCC is unrelenting in his drive to ensure this progress continues with you feeling and seeing the benefits.
It’s also an opportunity to re-focus, with opportunities to enhance partnership work delivering greater outcomes for local communities and maximising both expertise and resources.
The plan focuses on four key priorities:
- Cutting crime
- Policing with the community
- Supporting victims and witnesses
- Maximising resources and value for money
